quick to get up and running,vast improvement over tv sound,would recommend.

I purchased this item to improve the sound quality of my Television as the speakers were at the rear, so the sound was poor. This speaker bar fits perfectly under the television and was very easy to set up. I looked at other models which were a lot more expensive than this one, but I have to say this one does the job perfectly. The remote control is small. There are no leads to connect item to the Television, so you will need RCA Cables or a Digital Audio cable. The sound is very good when watching DVD's with the surround sound switched on. I used the RCA cables to connect the system and these work perfectly. However, I would imagine the quality of sound would be even better with a Digital Audio cable connected.

J'ai une Philips 6000 series Téléviseur LED Smart TV 32PFL6636H 81 cm : le son sort derrière (pas top !) Avec la barre ça change tout ! Simple à mettre en place mais simplement résumer le guide à "brancher un câble coaxial numérique" et pas besoin des autres. J'ai acheté plusieurs câbles pour brancher TV et DVD : mais il suffit de brancher un coaxial numérique sur TV (pour mon cas pas de sortie optique) et tout fonctionne : DVD + TV !!

Super Klang und sehr Benutzerfreundlich . Leider keine automatische Ein bzw. Ausschaltung ( erst nach 30 min. )

I scoured the market for soundbar, believe me. I have a Philips 39"led TV that only outputs (digitally) via coaxial. Now with optical connections being the favoured method this left my choices for a budget soundbar that was above the twin phono marque very low. So I looked at and came back to then purchased this soundbar and subwoofer combination. A simple digital coaxial cable from the back of the TV would allow me to then listen to all connected kit. The box arrives with the bar in 3 parts, assembly is okay but the screws are tiny so don't lose any. Construction is plastic with wraparound speaker grille which adds to the low proile and width this product offers which was another selling point. Its aesthetically pleasing to look at and compliments the TV perfectly being the same brand. An ever-present amber glow is on 2-4-7 to indicate status and selected input, yes even to tell you it's off. May annoy some. Subwoofer is MDF but is finished well on the outside, the front port hole might tempt young ones to sticking their hands in (let's not go there) but provided its a metre away from the bar it's happy so mine now sits behind the TV until said child gets a bit older. It's also equally important for the sub to be a metre away from any kind of disc player, as the low frequencies can interfere with the reader. Note then that a corner placement needs at least 10cm from the wall or you will probably get the boom effect, and not in a nice way. Subwoofer is passive, powered by the soundbar and is optional for pleasing the spouse who didn't think you needed one in the first place. So to performance, Fast and the Furyan (get it?) Part 6-(really!!):- The surround button gets alot of flak but I feel it's misunderstood, you see it really does sound like the echo in a cinema, so really it's doing what it set out to do.But this doesn't translate well to a living room. With TV programming it's rubbish but it may compliment some movies. Feed it Dolby digital via toslink optical connection and it will sound much more natural. Personal choice really, my Dad would love the former probably. Initially for me there was too much bass and not enough treble, it's like Philips have preset it to show off the Sub and forgot about the bar. After maxing out the treble and lowest setting for Bass on the blister buttoned remote (tad unresponsive) it sounded a hundred times better. Avengers Assemble on blu ray was inspiring for a bar and sub at this price. My bugbear is that it does not remember your preferences (bass,treble) now this seemed logical to the missus as it may need adjustment for whatever you watch- she's actually right too, but I would prefer my bass and treble to be remembered so I'm not performing a minimum of 12 button presses on the remote to get to great sound. The remote itself is slim and small but uses one of those large flat watch batteries, I would much have preferred a pencil type as its awkward to open frankly and I hate blister buttons. Bass and treble responds to a one button press whereas volume you can thankfully keep your finger down to stroll to your preference. You can of course operate basic functions from the soundbar itself too if you wish. So to summarize: with tweaks-if your happy to do them with each turn on, it defies its dimensions and offers real oomph! Most importantly it offers a wide enveloping soundstage without the surround button on if youre source content is good. Out of the box settings (for my taste) too much bass and not enough treble. For the money , I can't complain, it outclasses the diabolical LG one I had at every level. To think a Bose solo or an Orbitsound are 3 times the price and I simply can't afford either of those at present, but with my applied preferences to the sound it impresses given the initial fiddle.

Bonjour, cette barre est très bonne mais un point vient tout gâcher: Pourquoi une mise en veille sous 30 minutes alors que la barre est en cours d'utilisation ? En plein film c'est particulièrement gênant. Y a-t-il un moyen d'empêcher cette mise en veille autre qu'en appuyant sur un bouton ?

pourquoi la mise en veille automatique ? c'est inutile et énervant à l'utilisation Ne garde pas en mémoire les réglages et on n'a pas d'affichage du niveau du son

Télécommande peu pratique manque de précision,obligation de reprendre le niveau sonore après chaque utilisation
